Caught In The Act
An original play written by Cole Edwards SPS ‘24, I directed his play for the Winter One-Acts Festival at St. Paul’s School. A humorous play that tells the story of two robbers who are caught in the act of stealing by the own of the house, Mike. However, in a reversal of fortune, Mike is then caught in the act of cheating as his two “girlfriends” walk in. Although with a limited budget, I aimed to merge Cole’s vision for his play with my own interpretation into a play that attempts to address moral ambiguity with an ironic twist.
ALL IN
An original short film that I acted, filmed, and edited from the Yale Conservatory for Actors Screenacting Intensive. The short film follows the tragic narrative of the protagonist, pressured by monetary burdens, who enters a gambling field. The protagonist loses all of their money as the new victim enters, revealing the cycle of the gambling table.
Evil Good
An original play that I wrote, "Evil Good" was performed on Rattlestick Theater, New York, NY. For more information about the original play "Evil Good", take a look at my scripts page!
CLUE: ON STAGE (High School Edition)
Especially fond to my heart, this showing of the “CLUE: ON STAGE” for our school’s fall play marks my debut onto the stage. This performance was a big step in building my confidence as I was cast as Wadsworth, the butler, orchestrating the whole scenario.
August: Osage County (Scene 3)
This performance of Scene 3 of the widely known play “August: Osage County” was final assignment for my advanced scene study class. Through acting the character Bill, I dived into character analysis such as objective, action, and personal history. Moreover, in this class I further deepened my understanding and practice of scoring a scene, loading the scene with given circumstances, and letting the scene unfold.
